This Month's Poem "Im Not Broken"

Some weeks it isn't one thing. It's all of it, stacked on top of each other, and you're still expected to get up, get dressed, and get through the day like nothing's sitting on your chest.

I wrote this on one of those weeks — not because I'd found my way out of it, but because naming it was the only thing that made it feel carryable.


*I'm Not Broken*


I'm not broken.


Thought I was.


Doubted myself.


Ran with turmoil.


Got into bed with anxiety.


Woke up with depression.

Walked with fear through the day.


Sat with low self-esteem for lunch.
